India's Feme Psycho Fugitive Omana EdadanWanted by Interpol for Extradition MurderFebruary 9, 2009 TAMIL NADU INDIA NEWS -- Omana Edadan is most wanted by Interpol for extradition to Ooty, in the Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, India for allegedly committing crimes against human life and health. This descriptive category, "Crime against human life and health" includes, but is not limited to; murder, manslaughter, torture, aggravated assault, battery, the intentional infliction of a grave injury, or the intentional transfer of a communicable infectious disease (STD, HIV).
According to a Tamil Nadu Crime Branch investigation, Omana allegedly poisoned a man and cut the body into pieces in the retiring room of the Ooty Railway Station. Packing the pieces of the man's body into a suitcase, she then attempted to dump the suitcase in a gorge, but instead, hired a taxi to drive her to Kodaikanal. While in transit, the driver became suspicious and alerted the police. The Kodaikanal Police arrested her and transferred the case to Ooty. After the transfer, Omana Edadan apparently somehow disappeared and was placed on Interpol's wanted list. Omana Edadan is most wanted in Ooty or Udhagamandalam, the official Tamil name for the town, which is situated in the mountainous Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Many of the forests and water bodies are off limits to visitors in order to protect the ecosystem. Therefore, due to the natural beauty of the region, makes Udhagamandalam a highly commercialized tourist town. But, Edadan was born in Payyanur, Kannur District of Kerala, which is a seaport town with a population of more than 69,000. Payyannur has an average literacy rate of 83%, higher than the national average of 59.5%. Edadan is a doctor and eye specialist who speaks English and Malayalam. Omana Edadan is described as:
