Former fugitive was wanted by Sheriff for 1st Degree Burglary.July 09, 2010 MD FUGITIVE NEWS -- Alexandra Leigh Monaco was most wanted by the Calvert County Sheriff's Department in Maryland for 1st Degree Burglary, possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS), and Intimidating Witness. All of these crimes are considered felonies, moreover, 1st Degree Burglary is usually defined as a crime of theft, characteristically involving the intentional breaking and entering into a building or other structure to commit a crime of violence. Additionally, 1st Degree Burglary is a very serious crime in Maryland. If a defendant is convicted, he or she is facing imprisonment up to 20 years, and almost always spends some period of time incarcerated.
