MIAMI FL NEWS -- Taylenis Alvarado is most wanted by Florida Department of Corrections Absconder Unit for probation violation. She was originally convicted for robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, a Saturday Night Special. Sentenced to three years supervised probation in Miami, Dade County, Florida, Alvarado, disappeared after 15 months.

In early 2006 the former Secretary of the Department of Corrections, James McDonough, established a goal to reduce the number of Florida's fugitive absconders by 20% within one year.
