The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is investigating this bank robbery as being related to a string of similar "take-over" robberies which have occurred throughout the Denver metro area at Washington Mutual Banks. In all of these robberies the suspects appear to be young dark-skinned males wearing hooded sweatshirts or jackets as well as masks, and are often using stolen vehicles to flee the scene of the robbery.

Furthermore, the violent nature of these "take-over" style bank robberies has caused the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force to offer a negotiable cash reward for information leading to the identification and capture of this gang of robbers working the Denver, Colorado area. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (303) 629-7171.
