Petty Gang Graveyard Boyz Charged for Selling RockEach Graveyard Boyz member allegedly sold varying quantities of Crack Cocaine in and around three residences near the Joseph C. Carter ParkSeptember 14, 2008 FORT LAUDERDALE FL NEWS -- A petty street gang called the Graveyard Boyz has been charged in a 16-count Indictment for distributing Rock in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ten of the defendants conspired together to possess with intent to distribute fifty grams or more of Crack Cocaine during a six-month period. Each Graveyard Boyz member also allegedly sold varying quantities of rock in and around three residences near the Joseph C. Carter Park in the City of Fort Lauderdale. One defendant, Tavares A. McCoy is charged with being a previously-convicted felon in possession of a firearm. McCoy was arrested in the driveway of one of the crack houses located near the recreational Park where most of the gangs drug business was conducted, and was packing a concealed loaded S&W .38 caliber revolver at the time of his arrest. The Graveyard Boyz, whom are still at-large are all residents of Broward County, Florida, and anyone with information on their whereabouts are asked to contact the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
