Cancun - Mexico $10,000 Reward for Child RapistWanted by the FBI for TRANSPORTING A MINOR IN FOREIGN COMMERCE WITH INTENT TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL ACTIVITY, TAMPERING WITH A WITNESS, FIRST DEGREE RAPE, and POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
August 23, 2008 CANCUN MEXICO NEWS -- A former resident of Marshall County, Oklahoma, Jose Gustavo Badillo is wanted with up to a $10,000 reward for his arrest. Badillo is accused of raping and molesting a female child over several years, beginning in 1998. A former police officer and jailer, this fugitive is and has extensive computer training. Badillo has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Mexico. Furthermore, Badillo most recent worked for an oil company in Mexico, and is believed to be living in Cancun, Matamoros or San Luis Potosi. On September 1, 2005, the District Court of the 20th Judicial District, State of Oklahoma, issued an arrest warrant after Badillo was charged with first degree rape.
On September 19, 2005, Badillo was charged federally, with transporting a minor in foreign commerce with intent to engage in sexual activity, and tampering with a federal witness. On February 23, 2006, United States District Court, Eastern District of Oklahoma, issued an arrest warrant for Badillo relating to a charge of possession of child pornography. Jose Gustavo Badillo has taken flying lessons, and has a formal education in computer technology. He is known to use the internet to sell items online. Once Badillo owned a deejay business, so he enjoys nightlife frequenting bars while consuming alcohol. Badillo avoids physical labor, seeking white collar employment. Badillo has ties to Madill and Ardmore, Oklahoma, and San Luis Potosi and Matamoros, Mexico.
