California - United States Paul Edmond Carpenter is Most Wanted for Murder and Attempted RobberyWanted by the FBI for UNLAWFUL FLIGHT TO AVOID PROSECUTION - MURDER and ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
August 23, 2008 LOS ANGELES CA NEWS -- Paul Edmond Carpenter is most wanted by the FBI with a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to his arrest. On February 9, 1999 an arrest warrant for Carpenter was issued by the Municipal Court of Santa Monica Judicial District, County of Los Angeles, after he was charged with murder and attempted robbery. A federal arrest warrant was issued on February 12, 1999, by the United States District Court, Central District of California, after Carpenter was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Paul Edmond Carpenter is most wanted for his involvement in the murder and attempted robbery of a German tourist. On October 12, 1998, it is believed that Paul Edmond Carpenter, his girlfriend, and two other friends attempted to rob a group of German tourists in Santa Monica, California. During the robbery, one of the tourists, Horst Fietze, was shot to death. All three of Carpenter's accomplices have been arrested and convicted for their part in the crime.
