Most Wanted News: Fort Collins, Colorado Redwine has been Captured
July 13, 2008 FORT COLLINS CO NEWS -- Rebecca Redwine has been captured. Redwine was wanted in Colorado for her involvement in a methamphetamine drug trafficking organization. A reward of up to $1,000 was offered by Crime Stoppers of Boulder County for Redwine's arrest. On September 5, 2006, the Larimer County Drug Task Force and Longmont Police Department concluded a cooperative investigation of a methamphetamine drug trafficking organization by arresting two Fort Collins, Colorado residents. The investigation began in November 2005, over the course of the investigation, it was determined this drug trafficking organization was responsible for the distribution of methamphetamine throughout Northern Colorado, and had ties to a larger regional organization. During the course of the investigation, a search of one subject's apartment in Fort Collins resulted in the seizure of 14 ounces of methamphetamine, four guns and $9500 in cash. The methamphetamine being distributed was believed to have come from Mexico. As a result of the investigation, more than $100,000 worth of Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Marijuana was seized. Moreover, over seventy people, mostly Larimer county residents, have been arrested on felony drug charges due to their illegal dealings with this organization. Of those seventy people, five face federal drug charges while the others face Colorado state drug charges. Rebecca Redwine is one of those seventy people facing drug charges.
