Jamie Melissa Osburn - The Last Remaining Female Fugitive of Weld County, Colorado

Wanted by the Weld County Sheriff for Various Crimes

DENVER CO NEWS -- Yo, law enforcement and citizens of Weld County, Colorado, have done an outstanding job catching their county's criminals. Since we opened this page in January, Weld County law enforcement has removed 12 female fugitives, including three female fugitives featured here!

This is topnotch community policing at its best, therefore, we have added Weld County's remaining most wanted female fugitive to Most Wanted Hoes.

Weld County, Colorado has a 2003 estimated population of 209,909, which is expected to increase to 268,025 by 2011, making it one of the fastest growing areas in the nation. Southwest Weld County, with its beautiful scenic mountain view, is conveniently located within commutable driving distance to three of Colorado's major cities, Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins. Unfortunately, with the Colorado-Wyoming state border to the north and the Interstate 25 corridor along its western border providing easy access into the county, Weld County is used as a drug trafficking route by organized criminals. Fortunately, the Weld County Drug Task Force is partnered with other law enforcement agencies within the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) to combat the county's vulnerability.

Jamie Melissa Osburn

Jamie Melissa Osburn, is Weld County's last remaining female fugitive. Osburn is most wanted for Parole Violation, Forgery, Failure to Appear (FTA), Shoplifting, Larceny. Osburn's last known address was 3644 Boardwalk, Evans, Colorado.

Jamie Melissa Osburn is described as:

  • Height: 5''8"
  • Weight: 140

  • Hair: Brown
  • Sex: Female
  • Race: White

The second woman fugitive, Dezirse Dawn Hammon, was wanted for two felony charges, escape and possession of a controlled substance. Hammon's original warrant for possession of a controlled substance was issued on October 3, 2007. The subsequent warrant for escape from felony conviction was issued October 15, 2007. Hammon's last known address was 326 Baker St #9 Longmont, Colorado. Dezirse Dawn Hammon was captured on January 25, 2008 in Longmont, Colorado.


Most Wanted Hoes third Weld County female fugitive, was Mandi Tessa Martinez who had violated her terms of probation, and is charged with escape from felony conviction. Martinez was originally charged with unlawful use of a schedule 2 controlled substance, and a misdemeanor, menacing with a weapon.

A schedule 2 controlled substance simply defined as a prescription drug or chemical compound that has a high potential for abuse, and may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence. Although these drugs and substances have an accepted medical use within the United States, they are only prescribed under strict restrictions such as limited doses and no refills. Some of the more commonly known schedule 2 controlled drugs are Methadone, Oxycodone , Morphine, Amphetamine, Hydromorphone or Dilaudid known on the street as drugstore heroin.

To put into perspective the potency of these drugs, one just need examine the schedule 2 drug, Fentanyl, which is 80 times as potent as morphine. Where as, street heroin is only twice as potent as morphine. Therefore, these schedule 2 controlled substances are extremely dangerous when used without medical supervision due to the potential for overdose, physical damage, and addiction. Martinez's was captured on February 22, 2008, in Greeley, Colorado.

Lori Ann Rodriguez

Our last Weld County wanted woman is Lori Ann Rodriguez, who was wanted by the Weld County Sheriff for Contempt of Court, Forgery, Failure to Appear, Larceny, Identity Theft. Her warrant, number D0622007CR000783, was issued on June 20, 2007. Lori Ann Rodriguez was also captured on January 7, 2008, in Greeley, Colorado.

This concludes the current list of female fugitives wanted and captured, as of May 20, 2008, for various crimes in Weld County, Colorado.
