Prisoner Tashia Evans was uncuffed at HospitalDecember 22, 2010 New York Fugitive News -- A crime suspect, Tashia Evans, is now a hunted offender (ho) after escaping custody of the New York Police Department (NYPD). Evans was last seen on December 20, 2010, at approximately 1:30 p.m., at Harlem Hospital, located at 506 Lenox Avenue, New York, NY. Earlier in the morning, Evans was arrested for grand larceny, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. Evans was then transported to the Harlem Hospital after complaining of chest pains. However, once she received medical attention, the NYPD prisoner bolted custody. Interestingly, the ho was uncuffed at the time of her escape. Evans may also have been unattended when she escaped because police and hospital staff did not know the direction the woman fled.
Tashia Evans has six prior arrests, mostly for writing fraudulant checks. Evans was wearing gray pants and a black at the Hospital. She is further described as:
