San Diego AK-47 BanditWanted by FBI for Armed Bank RobberyOctober 22, 2009 CA NEWS -- The FBI and San Diego Police Department are asking the public's help to identify a man armed with a semi-automatic weapon that robbed the Chase Bank located at 4650 Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, California. On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at approximately 9:15 a.m. the bank robber entered the Chase Bank and immediately ordered a bank employee to lie on the ground. The robber then approached a teller station and ordered a teller to lie on the ground and told a second teller to provide him with money from the cash drawer. After receiving a sum of money from the teller, the robber fled the bank on foot through the north exit door. Throughout the robbery, the robber displayed what appears to be a black long barreled semi-automatic weapon, possibly an AK 47 Yugoslavian M70.
The AK-47 bandit physical features is described as follows:
Clothing worn during the robbery is likened to; a dark zip up hooded sweatshirt, dark baseball cap, light colored, possibly white pants, white v-neck T-shirt, black gloves dark colored sunglasses and wore an ear stud in his right ear.
