Unidentifed Body Found in VirginiaBody of a man discovered floating in Kerr Lake near ClarksvilleDecember 08, 2009 VA NEWS -- The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office in Virginia is asking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a man discovered floating in Kerr Lake near Crescent Lane, Clarksville, Virginia on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Additionally, the body of the deceased was sent to the Medical Examiner's Office, in Richmond, Virginia, for autopsy and identification, which has concluded the cause of death to have been blunt force trauma to the head. Therefore, the unidentified man's death is being investigated as a homicide by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff, Danny R. Fox.
The unidentified victim is described as white male, possibly between the age of 35 to 50. The corpse was clothed in blue jeans, a canvas belt and a pair of black Nike tennis shoes. Although no identification was found on the body, the victim does have a tattoo on his right shoulder of a Doberman Pinscher's head with the word "CAPONE," and the date "2-14-92," tattooed underneath the dog's head.
