Minnesota Whale Bandit Robs TCF BankWanted by FBI for Bank RobberyOctober 26, 2009 MINNESOTA NEWS -- An unidentified female described to have a heavy build, is most wanted for the robbery of the TCF Bank located in Cub Foods at 12900 Riverdale Avenue North, Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The lone female we are nicknaming the "Minnesota Whale Bandit" entered the bank and presented a note to a bank teller informing her that the bank was being robbed. After the teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled the bank and Cub Foods on foot (Sorry, I can't imagine this woman running out of a grocery store). Teller. The Minnesota Whale Bandit is described as a white female forty to fifty years of age with no doubt cottage cheese fat. Approximately 5'2" to 5'4" in height, baggy eyes, and cruddy dark lower teeth. During the robbery, she was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or sweater with the hood pulled up (thank God), blue jeans, white sneakers, dark gloves, and carried a black shoulder bag. Boelter, has requested that anyone with information regarding this bank robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200, the Coon Rapids Police Department, or Crime Stoppers.
