KY FUGITIVE NEWS -- Kelly Michelle Jeffers is our new most wanted Kentucky Salon Blonde! After being charged and convicted of Flagrant Non Support on January 6, 2009. Jeffers was placed on probation in Harrison County, Kentucky, so she could get a job and support her kids. However, our salon blonde last known address was in Moorefield, Kentucky. She is also known to live in Lexington, Kentucky. Jeffers became a fugitive on July 3, 2009, from the Kentucky Department of Corrections.

Since our Kentucky Salon Blonde, Kelly Michelle Jeffers, was placed in the expert hands of the Kentucky Division of Probation and Parole whose mission is to enhance public safety and promote offender reintegration in the community through proactive supervision and referral to community-based resources. Let's take a look at one reason why Jeffers has not been apprehended since 2005.

As of May 2009, Kentucky's Division of Probation and Parole had 429 sworn officers to supervise 38,754 offenders. In addition, the Division completed more than 19,000 pre-sentence investigations in 2008. These Officers also provide services for Community Centers, Halfway House pre-release programs, and jail-based Class D programs, which process an average of more than 6,000 offenders per month. Therefore, each Probation Officer must track on an average the whereabouts of 90 convicted criminals at any given time! No wonder they don't have the time to track down our salon blonde, Kelly Jeffers, these guys' hands are full.

So, it time to bring in the big dogs!

In February of 1948, a new statewide law enforcement agency was formed with full powers of arrest that went beyond the limits of any city or county jurisdiction. The new agency was called the Kentucky State Police (KSP). Moreover, Jeffers is a fugitive in the area of KSP Post 12, which is under the command of Captain Michael Crawford. The Captain received his KSP commission in June of 1986, and was appointed Post 12 commander in February of 2008. He is the man, and his boys will get Jeffers, if Kentuckians point them in the right direction.
