Manitoba - Canada Canadian Woman Goes Clubbing - ApprehendedWanted by the Winnipeg Police for Assault, Criminal Mischief, Breaking and Entering.
September 9, 2008 WINNIPEG CA NEWS -- A Canadian woman, Noella Laquette, has been apprehended by the Police in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Laquette was wanted with a $150 reward for her arrest. The Canadian Province of Manitoba is located in the prairies of Western Canada, and Winnipeg is Manitoba,s capital and largest city. Furthermore, Winnipeg has the third-highest overall crime rate among Canada's metropolitan cities according to the Maclean's list (2008), but it should be noted that overall crime rates in Canada are highest in small urban areas. Allegedly, in June 2007, Noella Laquette went psycho at her boyfriend's crib, taking a wooden club, and smashing the window of the dude's front door. Still on the rage, she then smacked her boyfriend upside the head with the club. After chilling awhile, Laquette was then arrested in July 2007, when she was injured from a piece of glass. She was then confined to a hospital for quite some time after the incident.
