Most Wanted Josephine Sunshine Overaker $50,000 RewardMost Wanted by the FBI for Domestic TerrorismNovember 24, 2008 BC NEWS -- A reward of up to $50,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest of Josephine Sunshine Overaker an alleged member of the eco-terrorist cell "The Family." On January 19, 2006, a federal grand jury in Eugene, Oregon, indicted Overaker was charged with two conspiracy violations related to seventeen acts of domestic terrorism, five counts of arson, one count of attempted arson, and one count of destruction of an energy facility. Josephine Sunshine Overaker appears to have joined The Family, to support the eco-terrorists acts in the name of the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Additionally, Overaker name is specifically mentioned in the court reporter's Transcript of the U.S. Court proceedings against Stanislas Gregory Meyerhoff in Eugene, Oregon, on July 21, 2006. Josephine Sunshine Overaker In the U.S. Court proceedings, Overaker was specifically said to have performed a reconnaissance of the Childers Meat Company in Eugene, Oregon. Overaker also assisted in placed incendiary devices at the Childers Meat Company, which functioned and destroyed the facility with fire on May 9, 1999. On December 25, 1999, Overaker is also alleged to have traveled to Monmouth, Oregon, and parked behind the Boise Cascade Company in order to act as a lookout and monitor a police scanner while other members placed incendiary devices to destroy the facility. The Boise Cascade Company was destroyed by the fire set by The Family. On December 30, 1999, The Family struck again, this time Overaker assisted Meyerhoff and Jacob Ferguson in removing the nuts and bolts that held two suspension cables of an energy facility's high-voltage tower near Bend, Oregon. Once the nuts and bolts were removed the tower collapsed The damage caused by the group exceeded $100,000, and was perpetrated in an attempt to destabilize the United States. Afterwards, the group returned to Eugene, Oregon, to attended a New Year's party at the Earth First Ranch.
